Guild Esports Signs Samsung Partnership Deal

Matty XanderBy Matty Xander21 June 2021No Comments2 Mins Read

Esports organization Guild Esports, co-owned by David Beckham, has announced a partnership with Samsung, a world leader in transformative technology.

In partnership with Guild, Samsung is launching its first partnership with a UK esports organization starting today. Samsung signed a one-year contract across the UK and Ireland.

In addition to providing monitor and display systems for Guild’s academy, Samsung will be providing LCD displays and LED signage for rooms at Guild’s future London HQ, plus additional monitors for Guild’s professional players, content creators and staff. Guild players need a monitor that offers a high refresh rate and a low response time to compete in the competitive esports world. Samsung’s high-performance monitors provide Guild players with both.

By partnering with Guild, Samsung can reach Guild’s social media followers and digital content creators while providing its fans VIP experiences. Guild Academy will also use Samsung’s display solutions as part of its physical infrastructure and roadshows.

This partnership enables Guild and Samsung to share the same vision for the future of esports, and the commitment to provide the very best infrastructure and tools for esports professionals, which promote opportunities for the development of talent on the field at all levels.

We’re delighted to be partnering with a brand as prestigious as Samsung, further demonstrating the commitment to our audience by aligning with best-in-class brands throughout our partner family. Samsung is an ideal partner for Guild given its world-leading technology, it focuses on innovation and provides users with the best possible gaming experience.

Michelle Tierney, Director of Commercial Partnerships

Samsung is excited to be joining the Guild family and we look forward to delivering value to the gaming audience. From monitors to displays, Samsung is constantly striving to improve the user experience by harnessing new innovations resulting in total immersion, unrivalled game play and maximum comfort. This partnership shows continued commitment to gamers and the wider industry, offering fans experiences beyond the norm. Historically, we have a long-standing legacy in esports, and we see Guild as the perfect partner to continue this in the UK & Ireland.
