NEO: The World Ends with You, is now playable for free through the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop, Square Enix announced today. Following Rindo’s quest to survive and take on the Reapers’ Game, a deadly life-or-death battle, the players will be transported to the bustling streets of Shibuya in this epic sequel to the classic RPG The World Ends with You.
A final trailer was also released by Square Enix, showcasing a comic-inspired Shibuya filled with restaurants and shops, as well as the dangers Rindo and the Wicked Twisters will face while playing the Reapers’ Game.
A demo of the game will introduce players to Rindo, Fret, and a host of stylish and memorable characters during its first two days. Missions can be completed, pins can be collected and various Psychs can be unlocked. Players can then use flashy combat Psychs to engage in frenetic combat against the mysterious Noise. Players who purchase NEO: The World Ends with You on the same platform will be able to carry their progress over to the full game.

Neo: The World Ends with You is set for release on July 27, 2021 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, as well as a PC version coming this summer on the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders of NEO: The World Ends with You are available on select platforms
